IZArc modestly bills itself as the ultimate archiving utility--we're not so sure about that "ultimate" bit. Nevertheless, IZArc is definitely one of the best archiving utilities out there. Compatible with a huge number of archive formats, all the major are represented, as well as 7z (from 7-Zip), ISO, BH (Black Hole), and TAR, among others. It can create archives for many of the formats it can read, too, including 7z and TAR. It doesn't, however, create GZ archives.
IZArc supports archive encryption as well. AES 128-, 192-, and 256-bit encoding and PKZip 2.0 both are available. The app offers a reasonable range of context-menu options in Explorer, although not as many as some of its competitors. The user interface is more similar to WinZip's than some other alternative archivers, with big, obnoxiously colored icons making it clear to everybody and their dog just which buttons do what--not that that's a bad thing. Overall, IZArc is an excellent example of a third-party publisher supporting multiple formats and options under one roof--but it's not the only option out there.

None enough to forgive the despicable practice of changing my browser settings without my permission.

"Use Sandboxie"

Good program, simple to use.
Cons
Everybody complains about the installer.
Go to SourceForge and download a program called "Sandbozie". Sandbozie clones files that are called upon into a new folder, preventing any change that goes through it from affecting the real file. All changes are made on the dummy files. At any time, you can 'recover' any file in the Sandbox.
1) Start up Sandboxie
2) Click "Run web browser Sandboxed"
3) In that web browser, download IZArc. The download will be safe.
4) Download away and let the installer pretend that it's maliciously installing things.
5) Recover the actual program (IZArc).
6) Delete the rest of the contents of the sandbox and you will have no malware.
This is a tested method. FAMILIARIZE yourself with Sandboxie before you do this, or you'll probably end up with an Incredibar and a headache. -

Perfect for people looking to infect their computers with malware.
Cons
IZarc has gone over to the darkside, this is malware/trojanware hiding in an installer for a previously useful product.
Summary
The installer they're now providing forces you to install another bit of software along with it that is nothing less than a rather pernicious bit of malware which installs a "browser," changes your DNS settings, changes the proxy setting in Internet Options as well as setting your default search provider and homepage to allsearch.com in all existing browsers.
Even the other bits of freeware that appear to give you the option
whether to install them or not, they get installed anyway even if you opt not to. -
"Perfect program for people (if you knwo how to)"

Modern interface, easy to use, extracts all files in my knowledge, Perfect for first time users.
Cons
Just the installer that comes with the ads and stuff. (this keeps IZArc up and running, without it, they'll soon die.) Just had to make sure I uninstalled it and with an antivirus scan.

"It turns JPG to folder format"

Free, fast and small size.
Cons
There are many times the .jpg files when it extracts it turned to a folder format and got error. I don't know what happen and I have to use the windows compressed function to open the zip file again and drag the jpg to the extracted folder. It's troublesome.

I have a better choice I won't use it anymore.

DO NOT INSTALL this piece of junk! Installer program FORCES you to install known virus-ridden crap before you can install the actual program. I did not even go past the forced installation check boxes. Going to install an older version or look for another program.

Installer forces you to install crap toolbars. They used to allow you to opt out, but not it won't even install unless you choose to install crap.
Summary
This used to be one of the best archive utilities available. However, with trying to make money (like most developers do) they have opted to force users to install crap on their computer. There are many options out there that don't force anything on you. The developers need to take a long hard look at what they're doing and realize if they want to make money, it's better to create a "pro" version and charge for it or just start charging for the software as-is.
