Hot Virtual Keyboard is an attractive and versatile virtual keyboard that gives users plenty of options for customization. With its many interfaces and helpful features, this is a great choice no matter your reason for needing a virtual keyboard.
The program's interface is sleek and intuitive, and a set-up wizard makes it easy for users to get started. There are almost 50 different keyboard interfaces to choose from, including number pads, and each one offers options to further customize the keyboard appearance. Each keyboard is also fully editable, letting users move and alter keys if they desire. We liked the program's predictive text feature, especially the fact that it's able to learn commonly used works, and we were also pleased to find that the program supports keyboard shortcuts. The program's built-in Help file is well-written and thorough. Our only major complaint about the program is that although it lets users set a language that is used throughout the program menus and options, there are not, as far as we can tell, any international keyboards. We think this would be a useful feature for a virtual keyboard to have, allowing users to quickly and easily access special characters that do not appear on their physical keyboard. Other than that, though, the program is quite comprehensive as far as features go, and it should make even the pickiest virtual keyboarders happy.
