Version: GiftWorks 2006 2.0.52
Pros: We are a small (6 staff) nonprofit. Giftworks delivers a lot of sophisticated features that save us time and money. And it's all very intuitive and easy to use. Plus, it's now much easier for us to get help from our volunteers to build relationships with donors (and prospects!). This is software designed by someone who obviously took the time to learn how we do business and how they could make it easier.
Cons: They are working on making the product even more usable with things like key commands to speed data entry and the abilty to hide unused fields.

Version: GiftWorks 2006 2.0.52
"A counter-intuitive, powerful program"
Pros: This program does everything I would want it to do; the problem is it takes me 3 times as long to do as when I had a simple Excel spreadsheet. NOTHING is intuitive, from finding donors to adding donations--especially if you are trying to manage groups of donors. A software that doesn't recognize repeat entries? Didn't the Commodore 64 recognize duplicates?
Cons: READ CAREFULLY: If you get this software, do NOT import your old donors into it until you have a day or so to spend fixing your old file before importing.
