Publisher's Description
From Vertex42:
This Gantt Chart Template for Excel is a simple spreadsheet that makes creating project schedules easy. The trial version contains a protected (locked) worksheet with limited functionality, but it can still be used to create basic project schedules. You can add as many tasks/subtasks as you need by copying and inserting rows. The chart shows 8 months at a time, but the scroll bar makes it easy to change the range of dates displayed. You can create task dependencies using spreadsheet formulas. To gain full functionality (unlocked worksheets) and more features, you can purchase the professional version at http://www.vertex42.com/ExcelTemplates/excel-gantt-chart.html
What's new in this version: Version 1.7.3 can be unlocked after purchasing the pro version. It also contains information about the features of the pro version and a few minor changes to the formatting and Help information.

"Nice layout, not too difficult to use"
Version: Gantt Chart Template for Excel 1.7.1
Pros
Clean looking charts on computer screen. Once you understand the few places to enter data, its fast and easy to use.
Cons
Must read through the cell formulas so that you don't edit in the wrong place. Difficult to configure for flexible printed output, although the basic output is generally acceptable.
Summary
Good for a free offering that works directly in Excel. I'll probably use it again several times.
