Version: Freebie Notes 3.15
Pros: Pros: This is the only one I could get to install properly on Vista (went through 2 others, one specifically saying it worked on Vista) and I've stopped because this one works well for me. I have no plans to uninstall it. I love the transparancy. The easy toggle for "Always On Top" is also a great feature. Easy resizing. That said. . . I won't put this in the cons because it's more just personal preference but there are a bit too many features that can be confusing (for instance, you can't write directly on the sticky note. To edit, it pulls up a pretty complicated form for you to enter text and options). I just wanted plain old sticky notes, like the free program I got with my Mac.
Cons: Cons: There isn't a separate heading box, so make sure you hit 'enter' after the heading or hit it once if you don't want a heading. If you forget about this, and try to fix it, you will have to take out the break it puts in to get the text to wrap again. Aesthetic-wise, that green menu is really ugly. lol
