A free program with a laudably simple goal, this download turns PDF files into text format. Its simplicity comes with a cost, however. The interface is extremely plain, except for a handful of prominently displayed buttons and links to the developer's other work. It functions well enough with PDF files that are wholly text, but when we tested it on files such as e-books that included photographs or calendars with notes, it often had problems, up to and including failing to recognize the file or the graphic elements. Tables were converted, but the end result was often unrecognizable. The program's output can be viewed and saved as separate pages or as a whole. On the whole, we might recommend the download to computer users working with very simple PDF documents, but anyone trying to extract the entirety of e-books or other complicated files should probably look elsewhere.Publisher's description

Version: Free PDF Text Reader 1.0
Cons: It asks you to buy the full product for certain functions, so it is not free. That would be a DEMO. Also, when it goes to text; that is it; Just text. Mark it DEMO next time, guys!

Pros: I converted a pdf to text only for reading on ebook reader. Did exactly as I wanted, whole text, no full version to buy.

"It?s so simple to convert .. just select the PDF.. it?s done in seconds"
Pros: I have tried many other softwares for converting PDF to Word...without success.
It?s not the question of converting all data, including Tables, Graphs,... the bottom line is Really to have all text available in a comprehensible way and 100 % correspondent to the original one.
Cons: Obviously... Tables and Graphs are impossible to convert... but, in my opinion, this drawback do not generate any shadow over the all the TEXT be readen and Manipulated as per our own desire.
