Publisher's description
From OPERA Tech :Have you ever tried to locate an important document, searched for it everywhere and still cannot find it? If you want an organized and orderly filing system, then you need File Folder Organizer. It is a computer program that helps you organize and manage your paper documents that are stored in file cabinets. No document scanning is needed or required. Rather than actually transferring the documents to your PC, the program allows you to maintain a database of your filing cabinets' contents. The program has the same look and feel as Microsoft Windows Explorer as it presents all keyed information in a tree hierarchy. Eliminate the piles of paper sitting on your desk now that filing is made easy with File Folder Organizer. Opera Tech is the author of other products such as For The Record and Media Organizer.

Version: File Folder Organizer - EX 3.1.3
"Easy; simple; user friendly filing program"
Pros: I needed a simple program that was user friendly to use at home. I
have one filing cabinet but couldn't find anything. I bought 2 books on filing:
"Taming the Paper Tiger at Home" by Hemphill and "Let me Look in Your Drawers" by
Mitchell. I wasn't even looking for a software program but when I saw this program
and tried it, I fell in love with the ease of organizing my filing cabinet before I
really worked on organizing my filing cabinet. I can find anything now. I looked at
a software program by Hemphill called "Taming the Paper Tiger" and it was too
expensive and it had more than I needed. I wanted to learn how to do this quickly. I
also wanted to be able to remember how to do it quickly. I used the program for a
while and decided I wanted to print the file cabinet labels and get the cabinet
organized. So I bought this program. I love it!

Version: File Folder Organizer - EX 3.1.3
"Easy to install and use. I like its simplicity!"
Pros: Straight forward, easy to use and it helped me get organized. I have windows xp and when I installed it everything was smooth. I recommend it to everyone and especially to those of us who are looking for some peace of mind when it comes to organizing our documents and life for that matter...
Cons: The simplicity of this software can be one of its drawbacks. That may be because since it met my needs, I began to think of other features to add part of my wish list. Anyway, I sent an e-mail to their customer service people with some suggestions and I am looking forward to seeing some new additions in their next release.

Version: File Folder Organizer - EX 3.1.3
"Plain & Simply - Don't Bother!"
Pros: None.
Cons: I installed this on two separate computers, one with XP and one with XP Pro. Would not run because of some autoexe.nt file. After installing, NO DOS program would work. Emailed tech support. Waste of time! Had to reinstall Windows XP on my laptop. Now will reinstall Windows on desktop. I even downloaded it directly from their web site. Same problem.
