This is how Fax Machine helps you: put a document on your scanner's glass, start Fax Machine, press "Scan a page", press "Send fax", fill in the recipient telephone number and press "Fax it". Fax Machine takes the hassle out of scanning and faxing. No difficult settings to make, very user friendly. Fax Machine also contains a printer driver, which lets you "print" to Fax Machine from any Windows application that supports printing. Of course Fax Machine can not only send faxes, but also receive them. It can even forward a fax by e-mail. Fax Machine is available in English, Dutch, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Version 4.21 supports SSL-encrypted login when sending email.

Version: Fax Machine 4.21
"A PC fax machine, plain and simple"
Pros: Very fast and easy set-up. Software is reliable in both sending and recieving faxes. It has two different ways of recieving, automatic and manual. Good help file for novice users (you won't be needing it too much, since everything is done in few simple steps). Scheduler allows user to specify a time and date of sending, which is very useful for office use.

Pros: Ease of use. Gets the job done.
Cons: Lacking. Not as good as other fax programs I've tried. Can't even recognize doc files. Might as well stick with the Fax program your XP comes with.

"Finally one that works as it is described."
Pros: The ease of using the product. I have tried almost every fax shareware and there was always a problem. It works well with MS Word and does what it says it will do. I love this software. It saves the fax so you can refax. Its GREAT!!!
Cons: Just make sure you are not faxing multiple cover letters. The software allows you to preview the fax before it sends it. Preview just to get the hang of it.

"a natural, intuitive interface make this a joy to use"
Pros: We have used Photocopier Pro for years now, and have been thrilled with its simple, intuitive interface. It almost makes us want to look around for other things to copy, just to use it!! Now we just had the pleasure of using Fax Machine (after scavenging around for a dialup modem), and were pleased to find the same clear, simple, natural program that we see with PCPro. It was a pleasure to use, and as usual it *just worked* (which cannot always be taken for granted in modern software). It was a joy to register another program of his.

"Installed in minutes, works perfectly"
Pros: I was sending and receiving faxes in under 5 minutes aftering downloading Fax Machine 4.21. Not a single problem installing or setting it up. Simple as pie. I've already cancelled my $10+ / month online fax service. This will pay for itself in less than 3 months. It does what it says it does.
Cons: None.
