From SMGlobal :FastMaint CMMS is preventive maintenance management software for small to mid-size maintenance teams. Uses--plant, facility, building, fleet, or other equipment maintenance. Designed to be fast to setup and use--no training required. Available for single user (Basic/ Standard editions) or multi-user (Professional/ Web editions). Features: equipment register; task templates for planned and breakdown jobs; plan work, balance workloads and detect conflicts; track and update work status; insert pictures in documents; manage inventory; track labor and material costs; analysis and audit reports. Provides Parts management that produces nearly half the benefit of a CMMS. Uses built-in Microsoft Access 2000 or external Microsoft SQL Server database (requires Professional/ Web editions).
In version 5.2.2, the same maintenance task can be used to schedule separate work orders with different frequencies on different equipment and locations. Fractional part quantities and cloning of maintenance parts is now supported.

Pros: Very good breakdown and routine task handling.
Very good spares handling and purchase.
Support fractional spares for liquids etc.
Support special characters for different language use.Cons: Ovedue and long term workorders do not stay on workorder list have to check task list.
Summary: A very complete maintenance program that I after 6 month of intense use canīt be without.

"Excellent Choice For Anyone Looking For A Stable CMMS"
Pros: One of the easiest CMMS programs to setup and use. The ability to add photos and drawings to parts and equipment in FastMaint is a blessing. This is often a option in other CMMS packages. Reports, Work Orders and Purchase Orders are very professional

Summary: Ease of use. Ease of implementation and cloning of maintenance functions with virtually no learning curve.
