From SMGlobal :FastMaint CMMS is preventive maintenance management software for small to mid-size maintenance teams. Uses--plant, facility, building, fleet, or other equipment maintenance. Designed to be fast to setup and use--no training required. Features: equipment register; task templates for planned and breakdown jobs; plan work, balance workloads and detect conflicts; track and update work status; insert pictures in documents; manage inventory; track labor and material costs; analysis and audit reports. Provides Parts management that produces nearly half the benefit of a CMMS. Uses built-in Microsoft Access 2000 or external Microsoft SQL Server database (requires FastMaint Professional/ FastMaint Web).
In version 5.1.1 you can create custom reports using a familiar WYSIWYG word processing environment, export reports to PDF or HTML format, and number of reports is doubled (26 reports).

Version: FastMaint 5.1.1
Pros: Like the workorders and I like a lot of the features of the software
Cons: Too many limitations for the money. Use the demo completely and make sure the version you purchase will do exactly what you liked in the demo without costing more later.
Summary: I purchased a previous version of this software for about $500 with the understanding that it would be functional for up to 40 vehicles - only to find out later that it is functional for 40 vehicles but limited to 40 tasks. Why is this a problem? ... read more >>
