Version: Express Scribe 4.37
"Transcribe most audio digital files."
Pros: Easy to use. Some editing of audio fiiles possible to improve quality. Full feature transcription.
Cons: When set to automatically download files show up as "expressScribe -- not mp3, wav, mmv, dss ... I use 4.31 as it has a checkllist of files that ExpressScribe plays for selection. That changed with the 4.37 version and it is a feature that I like.
Summary: As a full time transcriptionist, I have several different software on my computer to handle digital audio and video files. I find that I use ExpressScribe for about 75% of my work. A wonderful tool and it's free!
