Version: Express Scribe 4.14
Pros: The installation and update are a breeze.
Cons: I ran out of time before I had the chance to use the software programs that were installed (more than one, but you can opt out during installation).
I had the previous version and the trial period expired (during installation asks you if you want to install additional software). I ran the update from the software and tells me that my software is expired and that if I want to continue using it I have to purchase a license. The academic single user license of their Express/Dial/Web/Pocket Dictate combo is sold for $57.20, the Professional Single User version sells for $69.20, the Medical Legal User version is $96.20, the DialDictate Site License (unlimited users in the same place) sells for $1342 and the WebDictate Site License sells for $1382. I do not think that this software is free, but you might test it to see if you would want to purchase it.
