Express Dictate is a computer-based dictaphone that lets you dictate using your computer or a portable recorder. You can then send your recordings to your typist or assistant by e-mail, Internet, or over your computer network. Express Dictate uses digital audio processing and compression technology to record and transmit the audio via the Internet. It also includes many convenient features, such as automatic editing and voice-activated recording.

Version 4.02 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: Express Dictate 4.02

"Has everything you need for dictation."

Pros: There are myriads of other sound recorders but this one is specifically disigned to be used as a PC dictaphone. Express Dictate has an intuitive and nice looking interface, it's very stable and easy to use. It has everything you need for dictation and at the same time it uses very little of your computer resourcers. Highly recommended.

Cons: None noticed so far.
