There are so many complex digital calendar systems that help you track everything from business contacts to dog-grooming appointments, it is actually difficult to find a simple, printable, old-fashioned calendar. This simple Excel Calendar Template offers one solution, although.
This free template was designed using Microsoft Excel. However, its interface is nothing like a spreadsheet. After choosing the year you would like to view, a large, easy-to-read calendar is displayed. Each month is available for viewing by clicking on the tabs at the bottom, as well as an overview of the year. Each day has ample space to write a note and popular holidays are already marked. In addition, by using Excel's color adjustment tool, users can create a simple calendar to their liking.
We recommend this template for anyone seeking a simple way of printing out the year's calendar and hanging the months up in hard-copy form. If you want reminders, alerts, and other functionality, you'll want to skip this spreadsheet template.

"A practical calendar for basic records & planning"
Pros: Produces basic monthly calendars easily for years 2009 - 2014. Each day is within a box with ample room for appts, notes, etc. While Exel is specified in the software description, this template seems to also work fine in Open Office.
Cons: Needs Exel or compatible software.
Summary: No hassel, simple, well done calendars.

Pros: This is the second year I've used this calendar, so that speaks for itself. Very easy to personalise and PRINT. So, I, can't understand "hiswiccanrose's" problem printing!
Cons: None so far & dont expect any.
