Version: EssentialPIM 2.12
"The overall #1 PIM availavel, but..."
Pros: This is the finest PIM available freeware and shareware (pro version). Scheduling is a breeze; copy individual tasks and paste it with all its attributes elsewhere. To-do, Tasks, notepad and contacts are superb. Import / export are about OK. Shortcut keys are fine. except they work only in the current mode (calendar or task) and not global to the PIM. A good, conscientious support
Cons: 1) Desktop CANNOT be saved; you have to resize the calendar window every time you call it from the task bar. They are working on that 2) Recurrence works for monthly items not yearly and I can't figure why the heck not. They get my 100%, 5-Star rating when they do rectify these two issues.

"A simple colorful user friendly calendar & planner."
Pros: This is exactly what I was looking for - something to replace Microsoft Works Calendar. It has more features and is much more colorful. That may not mean anything to some people, but I happen to like "pretty."

Version: EssentialPIM 2.12
Pros: Easy to use and does the job intended to do. Keeps contact lists as in OE. Scheduling is easy to manipulate with drg & drp to reschedule easily. Like it.
Cons: Weeks are fixed. Would like to be able to begin a week on ANY day. A display which shows ANY seven consecutive days would be a help.
