Version: EssentialPIM 1.71
"Easy to use, light on the system, fairly plain."
Pros: Easy & straight forward. Not many options compared to more advanced pim's, but works just as good. Nice address book, easy to use & understand schedulers & appointments. You can customize some catagories. I've tried several pim's (both free ones & paid ones) & this is one of the least bloated, cleanest & easiest to use. One querk is it tried to access IE after it was installed. Except for that red flag, all else seemed to install with no problems.
Cons: Tried to contact the internet(IE) immediatly after installation. Why? IE is not permitted to run on my pc without my knowledge. No audio alarms. Won't run on 2nd user's screen.

Cons: None.

Version: EssentialPIM 1.71
Pros: I?ve been searching for a light, yet functional, calendar for a long time. Then I saw this little fellow and now I don?t have to search any longer. EssentialPIM is not bloated or heavy on your pc?s ressources like many others. It just gets the job done - easy and fast.
You can import your contact info from Outlook Express and also password protect the database so that you can leave the computer without worrying. I can?t recommend this product highly enough. EssentialPIM is free, fast and functional. It?s simply the best!
Cons: None I can think of.
