Version: EssentialPIM 1.5
Pros: Wonderful app, its free, comes in many languages. Handy especial for people who don't use Outlook! But the main reason for me to use this program is the notetaking utility, which is way more sophisticated than the one in Outlook!
Cons: Not much, though a spell-checker would be nice

Version: EssentialPIM 1.5
"4.6 stars: it works, it works, it works -- simple&elegant."
Pros: To the point Calendar and planer. Basic and intuitive, and snappy. I searched though several replacements for my defunt Sidekick, both free and not free. Finally, my seach ended with EPim. One new (to me) helpful feature: a 'to do' can be instantly changed to an apointment.
Cons: The year view consists of weekly columns - different, maybe better, but considering that many PIMs don't have a year view, and that I will get used to it - not really a flaw. One thing that would be nice is the ability to customize my own catagories and colors. But --if the writers tried to satisfy all users it would be bloatware--which it is not.

Version: EssentialPIM 1.5
Pros: This program is clean, neat, and powerful. There are many options and many ways to do keep you schedule organized. The interface is not overwhelming.
Cons: A spell checker would be nice. But that's not a big deal.

Version: EssentialPIM 1.5
Pros: I deleted "WinDates" after i used this program. Clean look and easy to use. It still has the "Remind me in: 'Time'" feature so it's all good.
Cons: It could use a tray icon with a calender but Oh well what can you do? Should not be compatible with OL (Outlook express). Honestly if anyone still uses OL they need to rethink there computer using abilities. OL = Stupid and full of vulnerabilities! Trust me I know i'm a hacker, a child could do it.
