Though it's a capable office suite on its own, this program boasts support for the ubiquitous Microsoft Office, resulting in a solution that's both impressive and complicated. EasyOffice features virtually every component an office suite needs, including a word processor, an image browser, a spreadsheet application, a database, a contact manager, an e-mail client, scheduler and calendar, and antiviral protection. Just about the only thing you won't find is a dedicated Web browser. However, since the word easy prefaces every application name, searching for a specific program can be a frustrating affair. Also, although the interface is highly intuitive, many of its pull-down menus are long and cumbersome. On the bright side, EasyOffice supports several languages and gives you options for compact and custom installations. EasyOffice also adds a rigorous backup system to capture and autosave data at different session points. If you're tired of Microsoft Office but still need compatibility with it, you'd do well to give this suite a shot.Publisher's description

Version 8.0 has a re-written EasyMail with better integrated views of your schedule/calendar.

"Free replacement for Office -- and better!!"
Pros: All the programs you need, including EasyMail which does everything Outlook does.
I didn't want to spend $400 on Microsoft Office for my laptop, so I downloaded EasyOffice instead. It works great. I did not buy license since everything is there for free.

Pros: Has most everything that M$ Office does except for 1 thing....$$$$$ ITS FREE!! The files are M$ compatible, Free antivirus!?!, Easy to use Zipping program, The Easy Speaker is pretty neat also. Great Job E-Press for a program like this for free!
Cons: Big download...but what would you expect for all that it does?

"Necessary software for everyone"
Pros: Unless you have thousands of dollars to spend on software you should get this software. I got cd's at $44 which are fantastic bargain. EasyAntiVirus is there including daily updates free of charge for life. There is full office suite including Outlook-like EasyMail. However EasyMail is better -- it lets me mix normal mail with my hotmail and yahoo accounts. It also lets me zap stuff to and from the word processor and my iPAQ handheld. For my friends who say 'OpenOffice is better, yadada..." I say the fullOpenOffice is already there as an option within EasyOffice. I use the OO component instead of the Easy component in EasyWebPageCreator, but for the others I stick to the Easy components. EasyCalculator is a million times improvement over the windows calculator. You can throw out your desktop calculator. EasyCalculator does a million different things. EasyProject is just as good as Microsoft Project for straightforward things like the construction industry where I'm involved. EasyGraphicsSuite programs let you do everything the over-priced Adobe programs let you do. And it goes on and on. EVERYONE SHOULD DOWNLOAD THIS SOFTWARE FOR FREE OR BUY THE CD. EVERYONE WILL NEED SOMETHING ON IT. IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE TO PAY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO MICROSOFT/SYMANTEC/ADOBE (even though that's what my business colleagues all seem to do). YOU SHOULD SAVE YOUR MONEY. COMPUTERS SHOULD BE CHEAP TO USE.
Cons: The industry I'm in (construction) uses certain files (eg, AutoCAD) that EasyOffice doesn't handle.

Pros: I use EasyOffice for two years now, and it gets better and better. Silly to buy Office. Go to downloads.com and get for free. Does Office plus PDF plus there is very good antivirus also included.

"ok program til u lose a dll somehow-then cant uninstall or reinstall or use!"
Pros: Nice program when first working.
Cons: Bossy program-takes over all jobs then I lost a dll file somehow and now cannot uninstall or reinstall - just have a huge program that is useless. Had to wrest control of some programs from it!
