This alarm program is easy like Sunday morning--but hopefully you'll get to snooze on Sunday and program this puppy for Monday. Easy MP3 Alarm Clock lets you set one alarm (and one only) to play your favorite music track in MP3 or another music format. The program window is compact and easy to use. One button lets you browse for music files on your hard drive, while drop-down menus help you set the alarm. One shortcoming we discovered during testing is that you can't minimize the window to the system tray. Overall, this is a basic, useful program that's probably easier to use than the Windows scheduler.

opens any file at any time specified, very light weight, and you can open the program multiple times, though each instance will only set to open one file at one time. very easy to set.
Cons
no snooze button, only one alarm per instance, not skinnable, doesnt min to tray.
Summary
i went through about 25 different alarm programs, this one is the simplest, and most lieght weight, met all my needs, i would use it more often if i didnt have Galarm on my phone

Uses windows media player to run the files.. and once its (WMP) set to non default the program stops working, and fails to open the file for alarm.

I fyou use WMP as your default.. it probably work wonders for you.. small in size and easy to use.. If you dont.. dont waste your time with it.

Trying to get Windows Task Manager to launch media player and play an mp3 became really annoying, so I came to cnet to find a downloadable alarm clock. This one is exactly the perfect one. You pick the mp3, the time, and click set. Idiot proof.

I have no complaints.
Summary
This product's simplistic purpose makes it ideal for the average Joe that just wants to wake up to some music for an alarm. It is also less than half a meg, which is always nice for downloading and transferring to other machines quickly. My thanks to the developer, this program is perfect for what I need.

When you select what time you are going to wake up, it doesn't give the option of AM or PM. So if you are thinking (24 hr) you are wrong. I selected 4:00:00 to wake up, and it converted that to 16:00:00. Why would it make that assumption? It's the perfect alarm clock for someone who has no responsibilities to be anywhere on time.

It adds two programs that monitor web activity that are not removed if the alarm is uninstalled. they are called webenhancer or something. These programs also make it difficult to remove. Darn it.
