Driver Sweeper is a fast tool to remove drivers from your system. You can also use it if you want to update or remove drivers from your system.
Use the official uninstaller(s) of the driver(s) you want to uninstall. Reboot your PC in Safe Mode (Optional). Run Driver Sweeper and select what to clean. Analyse lists all the entries to remove, where cleaning removes the entries selected.
What's new in this version: Version 3.2 has added Realtek LAN cleaning and improved registry entries detection.

"Great for cleaning out the clutter!"

Pros
I've used it many times and it always helps reduce crashes and speeds things up.
Use it for getting rid of drivers when you upgrade hardware or update something like video drivers.Cons
It isn't dumbed down and won't question you if you do something you shouldn't.
Summary
When you load the program it scans your installed drivers and gives you a list. I'm guessing people just click the list and uninstall everything without reading what they're doing. Before you choose what to uninstall, make sure none of the drivers are actually being used.
Most recently I had a sound card that started causing crashes. I removed it and the crashes continued. They didn't stop until I removed the drivers with this program. -

Pros
While in the process of uninstalling my AMD GPU driver, my screen turned black and became unreadable. I searched online for a solution and came across this software. Installed it in safe mode and it fixed the problem beautifully. After a fresh restart my computer became normal and I was able to install the latest GPU driver.

Don't understand the need for cnent downloader.

Summary
Worked so good on Catalyst, that I thought I would try it to correct problems that I was having with a print driver. But it wasn't capable of handling that problem.

IF YOU HATE SOMEONE, USE THIS ON THEIR COMPUTER. IT WILL TOTALLY DISABLE IT.

IF YOU USE IT ON YOUR COMPUTER, BE READY TO GO INTO A COMPUTER HELL, THE PROGRAM DID NOT EVEN BACK UP MY SOFTWARE BEFORE I RAN IT, AND NOW MY COMPUTER TELLS ME I CAN'T RUN PROGRAMS BECAUSE A "16 bit cache limit reached" AND NOW I CANNOT INSTALL ANYTHING. SO NOW IM IN SAFE MODE TRYING TO REPAIR MY COMPUTER. DID I MENTION IT REMOVED ALL OF MY SYSTEM RESTORE CHECK POINTS?
I WOULD SAY THIS IS A VIRUS, OR SOMEONE OUT TO GET A KICK AT KILLING COMPUTERS. DO NOT USE

Cons
As soon as I used it, and rebooted my computer, Windows XP would not start up. I had to go into safe mode just to be able to restore my settings. At least it had backed up my drivers. I thought I had really messed up for about 10 minutes.
Summary
This software and almost any other driver related software can be dangerous to mess around with. I would not attempt to use this program unless you REALLY had to for some reason.

Pros
It is fast and easy to use. If you are for example upgrading an AMD ATI Radeon card to a Nvidia graphics card. You just select AMD Display Driver.
Cons
None - I've used it 3 times on two computers without a problem.
Summary
If you are for example removing the AMD Display drivers, take time to look at the list that is generated when you click Analyse. Read down to make sure that nothing is being removed that you may need. Backing up your hard drive first should be obvious, but I know most people don't or don't know how.
When you install Driver Sweeper 3.2, pay attention to anything the software wants to install and uncheck the software you don't want. This way nothing is changed like others have said.
