Blogs and MySpace may get all the buzz, but DiaryOne makes a good alternative for those who don't want to post their innermost thoughts on the Web. It scores big on appearance, with a welcoming look that's highly reminiscent of a traditional printed diary. An included skin will change the color scheme to hot pink, and you have a variety of other ways to tweak the appearance of your entries. You can italicize or boldface text; change the font name and size; add photos, videos, and audio files; and print any information. You also can password-protect your diary and e-mail it directly to your friends. The program includes a basic finance-management tool and plenty of ways to search for specific entries. It's definitely old school, but for its handsome design and wealth of features, DiaryOne gets our thumbs-up.Publisher's description

"Thought my dreams were fulfilled but....."
Pros: > Hmmmm....Did I say a 'but'? The product is awesome. It has a really cool interface and fine skins, but its style and feel is such, it is like as if you are writing in a real diary, except it is on the computer.
> The ability to put sounds, pictures, smileys, clips really put some expression in your entries.
> The calendar is easy and you can even bookmark events, but isn't that for what calendars exist?
> You can't get lost in this product. You can find your way around in just a matter of a few minutes
> You can also email your entry/diary to friends. This is one cool feature...Password feature is also there and it also has a startup picture...not bad. Easy customizable
This product appealed a lot to me, but still I would like it more if it was totally free.
Cons: The 'but'--> The product isn't free... Sigh!!

Pros: Its like ur own diary only its digital and lets ur add music, pictures and videos! Th design is such that it resembles a real diary. Having tons of features so that u can put ur thoughts and feels just the way u want it.
If u love writting diary, ur search ends here. With a simple and effective design and amazing amount of features, u will surely fall in love with it!
Cons: Its not free. But good packages are paid packages! Lol. Though i still feel its a tad bit too expensive. But anyway.

"It's a diary but includes everything you need. Stunning."
Pros: "Diaries," you might say, in a normal-pitch voice. "I like them, but I need something - say - by adding some powerful movies and any-type size of perfect-pixel pictures with some brilliant smilies and great skins." Well, this is the most biggest download in history yet. DiaryOne includes all the writing tools you need, Comic Sans MS fonts to 72 sized bold. You can also put photos on your diary, plus some movies. It all works well with some brilliant skins, also some proper smilies. You can set what was the weather, and the whole thing is simply easy to use. It also uses a brilliant calander system with all the times of year. It's absolute stunning, and if you hate diaries, have a try at least.
Cons: The sucurity is simple. Don't get me wrong - all it asks is your username and password and then you are back in your diary. The transfer to MSN is lame, but it does work in luck. Newbies might have a hard time with all the updates and the video clips, and if you hate diaries, it DOES get repetieve after a week or two in addition to that the skins get boring after a while. But still, it is extremely good and I recommend this just too high.
