"Doesn't work"
Version: Device Doctor 1.0.0.1
Pros
None. As others have said, their site must be down, because after repeated attempts, the program will not work. It will not connect to their site to update my drivers.
Cons
Everything. What good is a program that doesn't work?
If I could, I would give Device Doctor a negative rating, or at the very least, a rating of ZERO.Summary
It would appear that Device Doctor no longer works, and that their Network is permanently down for good. Too bad, I have used their service in the past to my satisfaction, but that is no longer the case.

"Didn't work for me."
Version: Device Doctor 1.0.0.1
Pros
Don't know, it didn't work very well.
Cons
Didn't work.
Summary
Didn't work so I deleted it. Waste of time.

"Driver source site unavailable"
Version: Device Doctor 1.0.0.1
Pros
Quick scan - but no information
Cons
Says it can't access the internet site so assumes there is no internet connection - not true, the site is unavailable and appears to have been so for some years.
Summary
Not being supported, don't bother

"Good, easy to use program for novice to expert."
Version: Device Doctor 1.0.0.1
Pros
Simple to use
Very intuitive interfaceCons
Only thing I could find was that (as it points out) previously downloaded driver updates may still show in the list of ones it identifies. It would be nice if that could be stopped.
Summary
If you're a novice, you'll love it: One button to click "SCAN" and off it goes. Experts will appreciate the simplicity as well, and the scanning speed. With the exception of the single "con" listed above, I found the program quite useful.

"I have rated this as good but it may be better."

Pros
I have not had or used this product long enough to fairly judge it. However it has the characteristics of a fine product. It is free, simple to use and very promising. Time will tell.
Cons
I have no negative comments.

"Its a good genuine free program"
Version: Device Doctor 1.0.0.1
Pros
its free, very good on older hardware, very simple to use.
Cons
Doesn't always get it right with newer hardware.
Summary
For a free program its hard to complain as its simple to use and has saved me a lot of work in the past.
This version is a big step up from older versions as it downloads the drivers within the program without having to open your browser.
Like all driver programs it can sometimes get it wrong so make sure you check it has the correct driver by selecting the "more information" option.
I found it to be very accurate with older drivers and a must if your running XP.
It doesn't do much if your running 7 and newer hardware as Windows 7 finds most drivers anyway but if your using older hardware for 7 then it might be useful.
This is a handy little program. -
"Easy to use."
Version: Device Doctor 1.0.0.1
Pros
Finds out of date drivers.
Cons
Not sure if they are safe to use.
Summary
Will use it again

"Really Great Software!!!"
Version: Device Doctor 1.0.0.1
Pros
I did not have sound on my computer becasue the drivers were erased. I downloaded this software and two minutes later I was able to see all of my outdated drivers, and it updated them for me, and for FREE! I now have sound on my computer. Yeah!
Cons
None Whatsoever! highly recommend! Other programs scan your computer, tell you what your missing drivers are and then try to charge you to download them. Device Dr. finds the drivers that are outdated and lets you download them for free.
-
"Excellent!"
Version: Device Doctor 1.0.0.1
Pros
-It updated my needed driver which was my Sound Card
-It is free, unlike those other program that you need to pay for.Cons
-Can't say much, good program especially for Windows 7 32 Bit.
Summary
I tried Driver Genius, DriveScanner and Driver Reviver, they all displayed all these unnecessary drivers that needed to be updated (such as USB Ports, APATI Jack) You don't need to update those only Video Card and Sound Card that's it (that's what I update and it stops my PC from crashing). Those shareware/buy programs are just a waste of your time and money, I never bought any of them because I don't trust the internet even though its encrypted will SSL. But anyway if you're a Windows 7 32 Bit user, then this is the right software for you.
