Version: DataSlave Professional 2.1
Pros: Forget MS SQL SISS! If you don't need the full complexity of what that product offers, you will get to you goal of massaging, validating, and moving data a whole lot quicker with Dataslave than any other product I know of. The ability to see intermediate results and to step through the individual transforms on a record by record basis is invaluable when developing complex validations or data transformations. Performance is excellent. Tech support couldn't be better.... We need to clone Ian and spread him around to some other companies that supposedly offer support.
Cons: Documentation and examples could use some work. A faster Dataslave development cycle so I don't have to wait so long on the new good stuff they are adding to the product. (I must admit that it's worth every bit of the wait.)
