Calendarscope is a full-featured calendar program for planning, managing, and scheduling appointments, birthdays, special events, and tasks. It allows you to view all your events in a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly overview and supports to-do lists. You can get a quick look at the events of a single day in any calendar view. Reminders have customizable fonts, colors, and sounds, and may contain live Web URLs and e-mail addresses. Many of the main program features are accessible from a tray icon. Using Calendarscope, you can create single or recurring events and tasks, color-code different item types, and set reminders for upcoming events and tasks. A drag-and-drop feature allows you to easily reschedule an event, or change its duration. You can synchronize your data with any Palm OS handheld or print your calendar to take it with you. You also can save it in HTML to publish it to the Web or to a company intranet. The holidays of more than 30 countries are available.

"Reliable + Full Functional, but Simple = BEST"

Pros
It is a small, simple and stable program
I used MS Outlook and Palm desktop to manage my to-do lists, appointments, etc. The problem with these is that it slows down computer. It needs a lot of memory running in the background. Outlook Viruses and Spywares are a big problem as well. All these problems do not exist with Calendarscope

Pros
Calendarscope is very easy to use. It has all you need to make your daily schedule. You can customize the way it looks and also you can customize the way the print-out looks.
Cons
The way you save the daily schedule is a little confusing because the menu contains, archive, backup etc. but not save. It would be easier if it had a save button instead of the above.

Pros
Calendarscope takes any calendar scheduling program and cuts the fat, for when you are creating and working with your schedule, it should not be rocket science. Calendarscope doesn't pretend to be a PIM, and that's a good thing. Most PIM software is just awful and cluttered, but with Calendarscope's straightforward user interface, creating and altering your schedule is a breeze. Calendarscope is what Microsoft Outlook's calendar feature should be. Its simplicity and full array of truly intuitive keyboard shortcuts allow you to work with what's on your mind rather than trying to remember the 71 options of a given feature. Its print abilities really show its power, which can be used to generate schedules for meetings, entire departments, or for employees who require calendars in their work, such as teachers and activity directors. Reasonably customizable, Calendarscope fills a niche with a grace that belies its simplicity.

Unable to add events directly in calendar, must use a dialog like virtually all other calendar apps.

"Good Outlook alternative"

Pros
I was looking for a personal scheduler for home use to replace Outlook, as Outlook is overkill for home use. Calendarscope is as powerful as MS Outlook when it comes to personal scheduling. I really like the ability to share calendars over my home network. Outlook couldn't do that without spending big $$$ for Exchange server. Program is small and quick. Free trial from manufacturer. Good price. Calendarscope is the best sub-$100 calendar out there that I've tried.
Cons
If there was integration with email, this package would kill Outlook. On the other hand, for only $30, this program cannot be beat.

I have been using Calanderscope for about two years now and would use nothing else. Have tried others and still go looking now and again but still have found nothing even close. Easy to customize, easy to filter, hell...easy to use and at a price that can't be beat....and support is top notch to boot. Thanks Guys!!!

Like many others I use this tool frequently. I'm currentluy using Calendarscope 2.2 and I can honestly say I'd wouldn't be able to keep track of what I'm doing all day without it. Great product and well worth the money.

There is something for everyone with this software although for my purposes I don't use most of them. I do love the ease of use and the drag and drop feature. And one other feature I didn't know about. I had spent about an hour the other day moving clients around and adding new ones. Then the dreaded power failure happened. I was so angry figuring I had to retype everything all over again. When the power came back I started the program back up. Everything was just as I left it. It had saved everything without me doing it. A terrific feature. I LOVE IT!

Finally! A calendar program that does everything I need it to do. A user friendly program at a great price. It has extensive capabilities with excellect tech support/assistance to help you utilize the program to it's fullest potential while meeting your needs. Calendarscope is a wiz of a program. I especially like that I was able to try the demo for a few weeks, with the benefit of fabulous tech support, to see if the program would meet my needs. My emails were returned with solutions to my questions, and directions on how to make the program do even more! I couldn't be happier with it.

Summary
You can add the free clock that goes with it from their website that shows the reminders as you hover. It is a perfect calendar system, easy to use and affordable. I love that I can print my task list and take it out the door.
