The Broadband Download Monitor is a tool that tracks your downloads and alerts you as you get near a limit that you set. If you're thinking of switching broadband packages, you can also use it to measure your usage and see what limit you could comfortably cope with a new ISP.
Version 1.3 fixes some issues with shut-downs and installer (remember existing settings upon re-install)/un-install/registry as well as more cleaner uninstall.
What's new in this version: Version 1.2 includes unspecified updates.

Trying to get some idea of my usage as this is the first month of limited downloads. May help - not sure.
Cons
Can only get it to work partly i.e. Show Downloads Summary screen will not open at all can only get Preference screen to open.
Have emailed twice about this and left comments for them but have not received any reply.Summary

I cant set way to set a download limit with it, and I cant work out how to get a reading from it about how much monthly 'memory' I have downloaded........... (Mind you I do have Alzheimers...........)

I have no experience of using this software - once I discovered I needed to create an account and log on to a server somewhere every time I wanted to use it, I uninstalled it straight away.Cons

Doesn't appear to reset its self at the end of the month. Alittle more explanation on the monitor would be good ie. Why would I want to set an alert for a download test, and why would I want to test it?

All it does is give a pop-up window every now and again. The window may contain some useful information but it disappears before I can read it.
Summary
I downloaded this because I was exceeding my download limit. So I wanted to find out when it happened and monitor my usage. It has not helped. I am none the wiser. There may be a way of setting it up which makes it useful, but I haven't had time to find it.
