Version: BB FlashBack 1.5.3.151
"An Alpha Male Program With Type "A" Personality"
Pros: It does a good job recording flash programs and converting photos into WMP files. I could not however, after several attempts, get anything to comply with Powerpoint Viewer.
Cons: I don't like, No.., actually I hate.... programs that upon install, try to take a dominant role within my OS, especially when I am not presented with an option, or atleast a simple courtesy warning. BB Flash Recorder is guilty of all the above. My bad experience started immediately after uninstalling this program. My PC would not boot into Windows and {in brief, without details} my only option was to use my XP CD at start up, and repair my hard drive; in order to successfully boot up into Windows. Once I got back into Windows I did a little investigating. In Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager, I found that BB Flash recorder had boldly installed itself as an additional display adapter, and refused to go away with the rest of the program at time of uninstall. It went lurking around behind my back and married itself in with my Nvidia display adapter. #1. I see no valid reason why this program must take on the position of display adapter. #2. If there is a valid reason, don't try and reconfigure my OS without my knowledge. #3 If you are going to be a jerk and boldly reconfigure my settings without warning; .....then get your act together and see that it uninstalls inself as display adapter, along with the rest of the program, at the time of uninstall. I have to wonder if the developer has ever had an issue with being bullied.

Version: BB FlashBack 1.5.3.151
"Great tool, but needs productivity improvements."
Pros: Easy to use, gives per frame control. Very intuitive. Really small SWF files that easily import into Flash8 Pro. Nice tool. I purchased one. No regrets.
Cons: There are some productivity issues. Things that take a second in other similar apps take ever in this one. E.g. you place a text box on the timeline - that's it, you can't shift it. Delete and create a new one. THEY HAVE NO UNDO FUNCTION. You make a mistake - you pay for it. Instead they constantly pop a confirmation YES/NO. I keep deleting wrong things coz if I check that YES/NO every time I'll be editing for ever. There are quite a few little irritating things like this. They really spoil the fun.

Version: BB FlashBack 1.5.3.151
"Would be great product at a great price but video & sound out of sync!"
Pros: The express version is only $39 and you get almost everything the expensive version has except the editing capability. Easy to use. Small flash files! Great tech help! Would be a winner if weren't for the con below.
Cons: The sound and video were never in sink on both of my computers! I talked to the tech support and they tell you to click on an option to sync the sound and video button but this extra step causes a drop in the sound about every minute. BTW, tech responded to my emails promptly kudos for them. But after reading there forum:
bbsoftware.co.uk/Support/
Forums_home.aspx?forumid=2&postid=144&view=topic
they don't seem to have a solution for this problem. Note, I tried the other suggestions in the article but that didn't make any difference. The only thing that worked was the checking the box in the option called "Use extra sound synchronisation" but again you get the drop in the audio every minute which I couldn't live with.
Check out the trial version and perhaps you won't have the same problem.
