"Screen capture good, not getting movie smoothness"
Pros: Ease of use. Ability to edit frames very cool.
Cons: Unless my PC just bites, got everything out of sync. Tried capturing a powerpoint animation, sound out of sync with slides. Choppy capture, but editing may fix some of that.

"smoothest, least resource intensive screen recorder ever"
Pros: records any resolution you set your screen to - simillar applications fail becuase they take too much resources.
This app Can record for hours without a hitch.
FlashBack Compresses sound, screen motion for 2 hours down to as little as 12.6MB
Has excellent flash conversion
This really is a hit the button and it doesnt it kind of app, that works very smoothly.
This is a quality software application.
Cons: a little slow to convert to video but I believe this is based on the CODEC but compared to the benefits of this software, this not a big deal at all.

"Recorded movies, but took HUGE resources; slows system down"
Pros: Full-featured.
Cons: Recorded mpg video with sound playing on Windows Media Player 9, but took 100% of system resources, even with display adapter hardware acceleration turned off and no other programs running. Result: video playing on WMP was jerky, stopped occasionally. This on a P4 1.7GHz with 1GB RAM, so heaven forbid if you have a slower system. It's not the one, darnit.

Pros: I'd tried a few other apps quickly before but with this i was up and running and had created my first presentation in minutes. Simple, effective and versatile. Excellent!
