Publisher's Description
From Adobe Systems:
Adobe Acrobat Reader for Pocket PC software lets you view Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files on Pocket PC devices. Acrobat Reader for Pocket PC includes two components that work together: The ActiveSync filter runs on the Windows platform. It prepares untagged Adobe PDF files for the Pocket PC and transports them to the user's handheld device. The reader is the Pocket PC application, designed to accommodate the characteristics of small-screen devices.
Acrobat Reader for Pocket PC allows you to choose between two ways to view Adobe PDF files. One allows you to view the Adobe PDF file exactly as intended. The second utilizes tagged Adobe PDF files, which provide the best reading experience on handheld devices because text and images can be easily reflowed to fit the screen size. Tagged Adobe PDF files can be created with Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional, Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard, Adobe PageMaker 7.0, Adobe FrameMaker 7.0, or Adobe InDesign 2.0.

"."
Version: Adobe Acrobat Reader (Pocket PC 2002) 1.0
Pros
Yuhda - all you need to do is copy and paste the PDF file from your computer to the PDA, then like normal, just open it there, the Adobe would automatically read the files and start the program.

"Did exactly what I wanted.!!!"
Version: Adobe Acrobat Reader (Pocket PC 2002) 1.0
Pros
I use an IPAQ 4155 and this software worked flawlessly from install to use. You can zoom in to pdfs, wrap text or not and basically see whatever you need, however you need.

"Not Practical"
Version: Adobe Acrobat Reader (Pocket PC 2002) 1.0
Summary
Okay, so it installed and ran first time, no problems. Yeah, it opens a pdf document. Here's the problem: We all know how large a pocketpc screen is. You either can see (1) the whole page (in which case the text is unreadable) or (2) text in a size that is readable, but you have to scroll back and forth to see more than five words at a time.
Improvements that would make this a useful product:
1. Allow use to rotate the document.
2. WORD WRAP -
"keep this away from pocket pc's"
Version: Adobe Acrobat Reader (Pocket PC 2002) 1.0
Summary
I downloaded this application to my pocket pc, then followed the instructions to download updates due to problems with viewing adobe pdf on pocket pc's. I then bought five ebooks (adobe acrobat)and tried to download them to my pocket pc. Kept getting the message on the pocket pc that the books couldn't be decrypted. Followed adobe acrobat instructions to the letter, went back and forth to the adobe site again and again, tried all sorts of things, but still no luck. Adobe do not seem to realise that there is still a massive problem with getting adobe reader to work on pocket pc's! After 18 hours sat in front of my pc trying to fix the problem, my advice is...ditch adobe reader and stick to microsoft reader. Microsoft reader is very easy to download and operate, very user friendly too. Plenty of books in MR format if you look around.

"Acrobat for the Pocket PC"
Version: Adobe Acrobat Reader (Pocket PC 2002) 1.0
Summary
The previous reviewer may have installed the incorrect version, the Adobe site has different versions for the different Pocket PCs on the market (they may also have on for Palm).
Thanks to Download.com, I became aware that Adobe now made a Reader for the Pocket PC (2002), but because I'm using a Pocket PC 2000 (MIPS) I went to the Adobe site on the off-chance that it had a version that I could use...which it did. The download to my desktop took seconds on a broadband connection, and the installation to my Pocket PC took less than a minute. I've had no problems, and can now transfer Adobe ebooks, PDF files, Docs, etc to my handheld without problems and the screen display/& clarity is great. Thank you Download.Com and Adobe. -
"Like trying to use a plasticine bookcase"
Version: Adobe Acrobat Reader (Pocket PC 2002) 1.0
Summary
The idea behind this software is excellent, the features good, the implementation shocking. Never have I had to wait so long to read a page of text. Stick to simple files only, or you'll melt your PocketPC with the strain complex documents place on the system.
