ARO is an advanced repair and optimization utility designed to help improve and maintain computers running the Windows operating system (both 32- and 64-bit). ARO focuses on finding errors that hide out in the Windows registry, identifying PC and web browser clutter that may be hindering PC performance and ensuring computers have adequate security solutions installed and up to date. With its advanced scanning engine, ARO provides deep scanning capabilities to identify and repair registry errors. ARO also searches for and removes "junk" files that accumulate over time and can put a damper on PC performance.
ARO categories scans into 3 main areas: Registry, Junk and Security. The registry scan analyzes 13 areas of the Windows registry for errors and indentifies possible registry tweaks that can help improve PC performance. The junk scan checks ten areas of the PC for clutter, freeing up disk space by identifying and removing extraneous files that can clutter and slow down a system. It also scans and removes junk accumulated from web browsers. The baseline security scan confirms a user has up-to-date security software including antivirus, antispyware, firewall and now also checks the Windows operating system update process to confirm it is properly configured.

A trial run of this software claimed to find, "281 Registery errors and tweaks" on my PC. However, if I "Buy Now", the software claims I will be able to, "repair all and have fewer errors". I take this to mean the full version of ARO-2012 will repair (or find) fewer errors. This claim suggests the trial version is programed to find "errors" which the "Buy Now" version is able to miraculously "repair" (or at least, not "find"). Unfortunately, the definition of "error" is not disclosed to would-be users.
The software vendors also make this reassuring claim: Other benefits "may" include faster startup and greater stability of your system. I construe "may" to mean "may or may not", depending on how much you're willing to pay to find out! Over all, I'm not impressed with the trial version of ARO-2012. Only 281 Registry errors were found on my system. There are similar programs on the software market that can "find" well over 400 errors! If you plan to buy, pay a little more (or less) and buy the best! -

Registry cleaners are dangerous programs which will, in 100% of cases, cause more harm than good. FACT. Don't install programs that you don't need then you won't have to uninstall them, and then feel the need to use crapware like this to clean up your mess. Stick to the tried and tested programs we all know for whatever the task in hand might be and ignore everything else.
