You can use AFP-Lookup Complete to obtain a structured overview of each of your AFP files. All MO:DCA structured fields even those that have since been rejected by Infoprint are displayed in their respective hierarchy in a familiar Explorer interface. You can use this stable software to analyze even corrupt AFP files immediately. A comfortable hex editor allows selective editing of single structured fields and triplets. A search function is available if you can't find information such as NOP records or index values quickly enough using the structure. The search function now can be restricted to NOP or TLE search for finding information only in these structured fields. AFP files created on foreign platforms or in different countries can be opened easily using one of the many built-in code pages. A function for saving analysis extracts completes the range of functions. A completely new resource summary lists all embedded and external AFP resources used by your file. A special highlight for your efficiency is: It points you to the page, the selected resource is used on.

"A really great product, not free, but great!"
Version: AFP-Lookup Complete 2.3.1
Pros
Now I've found the first AFPDS analyzer, supporting foreign codepages, too! Not always and only the standard EBCDIC 500 CP, what is great for us europeans.
Especially the automatic page preview (the page you are analyzing at that time), and the hex window are great! I really have disliked the using of two or three tools like UltraEdit and other free AFPDS dump or lister and the MO:DCA spec on the hand in the past, only to "read" the content.
They also have a slim "Standard" version of AFP-Lookup Pro without viewer, just the interesting content, but I like this Pro version more. And it's not so expensive, if you need a second or third license: CRE-DO offers quantity discounts per sale.
Cons
AFP-Lookup (Pro and Standard) are a little bit slow while analyzing large files. I tried with a 56 MB file, and had to wait a second. It seems to me, AFP-Lookup analyzes to memory, this may be the problem. But, hey, AFP files in that size normally don't need to be analyzed, or? If you don't need the last page in the stream to be analyzed, you can cancel the analyzation process and view what have been analyzed up to there.
