What's new in version 1.14
A wild hyperPad update has appeared!This update introduces a bunch of new features and a lot of bug fixes! So brace yourselves because a wall of features and bug fixes are coming. Also stay tuned for the Free Universal (iPhone / iPad) hyperPad Viewer app!Features:** School Logins **Schools can now have their own log in, and private hub separate from the rest of the hyperPad community.This way students can share content, and communicate privately in their own community.If youre a school teacher or administrator, shoot us an email at email@example.com or go to https://www.hyperpad.com/private-hub to learn more.** Set the blend mode of an object **Change the blending mode so that colors of your object colors look different based on what is behind the object. Similar to photoshop blend modes.Blend modes:- Normal- Dodge- Burn- Screen- Disable Blending (Performance enhancement)** Save Behaviour Revamp **Finally Save to file now works similar to Attributes where saving is done through a key-value based system rather than having a single behaviour control its own save behaviour.This means that you can use other Save to File behaviours to overwrite each other. This means that you don't have to have your save logic bundled up in one place anymore! This means that saving a value to file MUCH MUCH EASIER!** For Each Behaviour **Behaviour to repeatedly trigger connected behaviours a certain amount of times.** Drag & Drop Behaviour improvements **Drag And drop now has options to only allow dragging in X, or Y direction. Also has option to create a "draggable area". Where the object can be dragged within that area only.** New Object Flipping Functionality **Flip in Transform Tab of Object Properties now flips the object + collisions. It will inverse the scale. Eg. to flip your object horizontally it will make the X -100%.Flip Behaviour is now flip GRAPHIC behaviour, It will only flip the graphic and not the collisions. To flip the object+collision use scale and inverse the scale.** Reset Save Data **Ever want to reset all your save data to see how your project functions in the point of view from a new user? Now you can!Simply press the hamburger menu button in the Editor's Player, hit Reset Save Data. This will clear any values stored with the Save To File behaviour!Phew! That was a lot of new features! Heres some bug fixes too :)- Math function wouldnt output anything- Changing collisions would make you leave and come back to move shapes around- Flipping a graphic would put the collisions in the wrong place- Default Screen button was making scene position in the wrong place- New scenes/projects in the portrait orientation would have the wrong screen position- Play music will no longer restart the music on each scene Finally!- When preloading a scene, existing global ui moved to preloaded scene and removed it from the current scene.- Rotate to object wouldnt point to the right place- Negative scales would break physics- A bunch of other bugs, performance improvements, and UI tweaks.As always, remember to check our roadmap to see what we're working on next, and voice your opinion.
