However, it lacks a portfolio to check your productivity or multi-asset tools

Push notifications, real-time news updates, and direct chats with other traders are integrated into the app. It also syncs with the desktop version of MT4 to deliver alerts and trading signals. You can connect with countless brokers and access their servers directly from the platform, though it relies on third-party broker connections. Up-to-date news content also appears within the app’s built-in feed.

Standard tools, no extra layers

MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading delivers basic charting, trading, and order execution tools in a compact mobile package. It handles the essentials of Forex trading without adding broader financial features like portfolio management or multi-asset support. Broker connectivity is external, and the app itself acts as a control interface. It doesn’t access broker-managed servers, therefore, separate broker arrangements are needed to enable real trades.
