Desktop Stationery is a freeware Windows application which is designed to act as a companion to the user, providing instant access to various useful utilities, including some organiser-like features. Desktop Stationery requires the .NET Framework 2.0 available from Microsoft to run. The main window is a sidebar situated at the right-hand side of the screen and always remains open unless hidden by the user. Features include notes, reminders, an alarm, a calendar, a wallpaper cycler, and a metronome.
Fastest quick links to most commonly used reference utilities in a super-low profile app. Also includes quick links to personalized shortcuts, notes, and reminders.
Cons
The alarm title bar icon should be relocated to either side of the time. Window font should be changed to white with black outlines in order to accommodate viewability on top of any background image chosen.
Summary
This application hides to the side of your desktop for super-fast access to the most commonly used reference utilities and personalized shortcuts, notes, and reminders. Some options would polish this nicely: alarm sound types, resizable column window and column window fonts (including styles, e.g. outline, shadow, etc.) In Shortcuts, drag-and-drop, directional arrow movements, or auto-alphabetizing would be helpful for organization, also. Still, the efficiency of this app makes it my new favorite for the fastest hot-links to any and all commonly used functions. Thank you!

Pros
I really like this program. It has lots of features and configurable features for the user. You can change fonts & make them bold. For those who read Scripture It has a feature to change the color in back of the Scripture at the top of the program. What a blessing it is a plus feature for me. It has tabs on the bottom a utilities list on which you can open, a calendar, alarm, media player and more. You can write notes, reminders with an alarm. You can also change wallpaper. You can add shortcuts to your favorite programs or files. One last thing you can personalize the area below the Scripture by putting a picture or tiled graphic behind your notes.
