Explore Energy in Circuits for iOS

Explore Energy in Circuits is a STEM learning tool for students from 2nd through 5th grade. By combining a digital app, physical cards, and augmented reality, students experience a fun and intuitive approach to learning about electrical energy.

The robot duo, Atom and Anne, guide students through a series of lessons that teach the basics of energy and circuit concepts, including:

* energy sources and uses,

* energy transfer and conversion (light, heat, sound and motion),

* closed and open circuits, short circuits and

* basic switches

Students manipulate the physical cards in order to create correct circuits. They receive immediate feedback, using a mobile device and augmented reality. As students successfully learn new concepts, they unlock tools and components that can be used in the fun, open-ended Create mode. The resulting experimentation and troubleshooting help students to reinforce and remember important STEM concepts. Explore Energy in Circuits turns screen time into fun and productive learning time!
