The interface is attractive and handy, whether you run in Basic or Pro mode. We prefer Pro, which provides additional features for organizing your start-up items, contextual menus, and temporary files, and lets you drag and drop a program's icon to the uninstaller's icon to remove the program. The utility provides a far more comprehensive list of installed software than the standard Add/Remove Programs feature in Windows, and it removes programs more rapidly and thoroughly. It quickly scans for unnecessary files without taxing system resources. It can clean up files and Registry keys that past uninstalls have left behind; it can even uninstall itself.
Your Uninstaller 2006 would suit casual users more than serious system tweakers, but it manages the process of uninstalling programs efficiently and intuitively.

"Not Worth the Money"

When I bought the program I had 2 programs that could not be removed this program removed the stubborn programs only one problem they are not in the Your uninstaller program but they are still on my computer brought this issue up with there support team not good a responding no help at all and also 1 more thing I have many programs on my computer and when I open the uninstaller have of them are not even listed instead it shows more of my Window XP's programs like everyone of my screensavers from XP why and most of the downloads I gotten from Microsoft update page sorry but this program is not worth the money

Pros
The desktop "bucket" feature is a class of its own. It unistalls even the toughest software (like Symantec products). It's a must in a power-user's arsenal.
Cons
The name should had been revised to "Your Uninstaller 2007".

Something very dangerous, it wanted me to delete Microsoft's "authentic verification tool", because it said it was corrupted. Well never mind that, just a week ago I had downloaded Media Player 11 and Microsoft had done a check to see if my OS was genuine, if I had deleted it then I would not have been able to download anything from Microsoft, no thankyou to Uninstaller!!!

Invalid installations are instantly identified and removal may be expedited with one click.
All active application icons are loaded at program start, so that the application for removal is readily located. A unique search function is a welcome adjunct to this; and, It will even remove programs which resist removal by Windows? native Add/Remove utility (including Screen savers).
Details of any installed application may be viewed; most helpful in identifying hidden malaware.
Speed is no euphemism.

This is no complaint, but a wish.
It would be lovely to be able to backup application and related registry settings in a ZIP or SFX archive, against the need for re-installation. Since Quarterdeck's Remove-It disappeared, that capability has suffered wide indifference among uninstaller offerings.

I ran this software on computer I've been using for 5 years and it had hundreds of installed or partially un-installed programs on multiple drives. The computer was starting to bog down and stall. Your Uninstaller went to work and it just kept going till I was able to get the whole computer clean. I have tried others and .. well I had to end up un-installing them too. If it was'nt for their free trial I would have never known, so I'd say the free no-nonsense trial is a Big Plus! I hardly write reviews but when I com across a great product I'm compelled to do so. I've had questions and emailed them and they are very quick about getting back with answers and solutions. A+ all around from me. Keep up the good work!

I'd take the year ( 2006 etc) out of the name. Adding the year kind of dates the program. ( wink!)

I have tried many other uninstallers, but this the only one that works perfectly all the time. It also cleans the registry. It works in XP and Vista without any problem. Don't hesitate to get this one. It just works!
