CNET Editors' review
Since we're stuck with Microsoft Word, we may as well make the best of it. WordPlus offers several simple tools designed to improve the industry-standard word processor. The most useful is a form-letter tool for sending personalized e-mails to multiple addresses. You simply insert special macro fields into your document, and WordPlus fills them in with contact data from various sources, such as the Outlook Address Book, an Access database, or a tab-delimited list. People who send the occasional personalized e-mail might find this useful, but those who work with mailing lists on a regular basis should probably go with a more powerful program. WordPlus's other features, such as the ability to preview and search Word documents, don't strike us as essential. We like the idea behind WordPlus, but $29 is too much to pay for a middling collection of utilities.Publisher's Description
