Sometimes online videos are so good that you want to download them so they'll always be handy. Video Downloader Toolbar is a Firefox extension that makes downloading videos as simple as clicking a button. In addition to its video downloading capabilities, it comes with a few optional features that are also useful.
The toolbar appears underneath the address bar in Firefox and has a Bing search box, a button for downloading videos, a translation button that uses Microsoft Translator, and buttons for StumbleUpon and Facebook. The video downloader is quite easy to use; simply navigate to the desired video in Firefox and click the Save Video button, and the extension saves the video in the original format to the location of your choice. The extension supports the downloading of a variety of file types, including FLV, MOV, and MPG. There are a handful of settings that let you control the extension's behavior and appearance, but the whole thing is really pretty cut-and-dried. Our only complaint about Video Downloader Toolbar is that some of the additional features, such as the StumbleUpon and Facebook buttons, may be unwanted by some users; it would be nice if the downloader were better integrated with the browser and didn't require an entire toolbar of its own. Still, Video Downloader Toolbar works just fine, and it's a good choice if you frequently come across videos you'd like to download.

I had to download a flv converter to make it into avi or wmv, causing me to waste even more time. Nonetheless it was a fast tool to use and I would recommend it to my friends -

Its a great tool for downloading your favorite videos off of youtube pretty much anyone can do it even if you know very little about computers.
Cons
I wish some of the videos would have downloaded quicker and I wish you did not have to download a program to be able to do this. Also some of the buttoms seemed useless to me.
Summary
Bottom line is this product will save all your favorite videos off of you tube so years down the road if for some reason they get deleted off of you tube you will still have access to your favorite videos. I wish I had known about this product before I never knew how easy it would be. The program is pretty basic and very little knowledge is needed so basically anyone can do it.
