- improvements to free trial scan so users have to ability to click through the interface and view information on individual software and drivers that are out of date
- improved matching with Dell configurations - it more accurately identifies Dell hardware specifications to refine scan results
- fixed a bug that would cause version 4.0 to crash when applications containing Unicode characters were scanned

I bought this a year ago and soon after uninstalled and also made the switch to windows 7. Not really missing this program. Ive been using a free basic version that is just as good. Just got an Email stating Version Tracker pro had charged me for another year, so beware , this program reniews your subscricption, Takes your money THEN tells you YOU can cancel and get a refund, Ive already tried to contact them and of course its turning out to be a hassle, Not a good way to keep customers. I will not use any product that auto deducts money from my bank account without asking. Ive learned my lesson with this software ! Buy it at your own risk !

Time saver, alerts when drivers need updating and prompts for the aplicable updates to be downloaded.
Cons
It has shown that updates were neded when the web site of the product itself tells me that everything is in order and I do have the latest version of the software...
Summary
If the above flaw is corrected the product will rate considerably higher in my view and, I believe, in the view of many other users.

none at all. do not expect billing, cvustomer service or tech support to return your voicemail messages.
Cons
dont expect customer service or tech support to contact you no matter what the voicemail says. I have been waiting for two weeks to hear from someone and left repeated messages

I have tried to purchase the software but keep getting internal server error messages, the only response I have recieved from the vendor is to try another browser. the one I have (IE8) works fine for veryone else so why should I change for this software.
I replied but as yet (5 days ) I have not had any further contact from the vendor. -

Was able to recover what programs I had when a computer was stolen.

Tried countless times to renew my subscription before it ran out. Sent several emails and never got a response to any of them.
