powerful and handy
Cons
Help file doesn't open via menu option, have to open it manually. Missing a VB dll (search for Msvbvm50.exe online to get the VB5 file necessary for the program to run). Not the easiest program to use, the help file could use some help itself.
Summary
It does work with Win7, you just need to get that VB5 dll file listed in cons. The handy view feature lets you see what the replace/update will do prior to you changing all the filenames. At least you can mess with changes and see what they will look like, and tweak the values, before you scramble all your files. It is a fast tool and once you get it configured for the changes you want to make it is very powerful. You can save so much time with this tool instead of using F2 to manually edit all the filenames.
