This snooping utility provides almost all the features essential for monitoring a PC, but we were especially impressed with its stealthiness. System Surveillance Pro logs keystrokes, IM chats, applications used, and Web sites visited, and can capture screenshots at user-defined periodic intervals.
The interface makes it easy to locate any log file you need to access. System Surveillance Pro can block Web sites via URLs or detected keywords, and includes a scheduler in case you don't need to monitor PC usage at all times. Like most respectable spying applications, it will send you e-mail reports so you can keep an eye on your computer from a remote location. We doubt even the cleverest users will be able to detect the program while it's running or uninstall it.
To open its control panel, you must use the Start menu's Run command, and even if someone finds the application, they'll still need your password to disable it. The utility can't be stopped via the Task Manager, nor uninstalled through the Control Panel or the Program Files folder. Installation is very touchy, and all non-essential programs--even those running in the background--must be shut down for the installation to work. Also, the seven-day trial period is too short for our tastes, but since System Surveillance Pro provides effective protection against even savvy folks, we still think it's a good find.

In my experience make sure you do not use a quick launch, create a password (a very strong one), and set your snap shots to an extremely high setting (mine is at 7000000) so you never run out of space but make sure you go thru it and clean it up from time to time and save w/e items you specifically need (that's for you ladies watching your men lol) and set it to snap shot every 45 seconds :) works great!! i have some master typers in my home and nothing gets past me!!! lol :) ENJOY.. I KNOW I AM!!!

Easy to setup and start monitoring; captures every keystroke, alerted when certain keywords used; screenshots easy to see and navigate through, very pleased with product.

Having difficulty getting smtp mail to work but am able to view activity through monitoring log on the machine.

I tried some free keyloggers, got viruses, and even tried to use web watcher's free trial but could never get it to run and then got a trojan virus after I tried to redownload web watcher's software. Found web water pricy at $100, and after frustration in being unable to get trial version even started, moved on to SSPro and I am VERY pleased. Easy to install, trial period was enough to monitor activity and capture data, and the price is half that of web watcher. Plus with SSPro I get to cover two machines for one license. Very pleased and would recommend any parent who wants to monitor children's PC and internet activity to purchase this product.

It's a very powerful product, I think it would be great for business, but as I'm looking for home use (mostly site blocking) it's a bit much.
I've actually tried BlockSmart for website blocking and it's totally free.
