This spyware scanner and removal tool does the job, but enabling some functions may cause slight slowdowns and it's not ready for Vista.
Spyware Terminator's crisp, clean interface uses simple buttons and tabs to operate and set options. The latest spyware signatures are automatically downloaded, and the real-time protection keeps baby-sitting to a minimum. Real-time protection monitors key spyware types and Windows objects, though slight system slowdowns depend on your machine. Those features and the simple scheduler will make this app appealing to novices.

Version: Spyware Terminator 2
"Very good freeware, but....."
Pros: I used the anti-spy portion (Only) for a long time as a second. Then I got so sick and tired of the active shield interrupting me when I was busy, I uninstalled it. It bugs you more then any other anti-spy program I've ever tried. I no longer have the need f or this program.
Cons: Only detected cookies on my machine and a few false positives. It was such a pain in the rear when I was busy doing other things it's gone. Do not install the toolbar or the anti-virus because there are better free anti-virus options.

Pros: Dont you just love that part in the movie where the Terminator walks
into the police staion and start bowing every one away !
its like this software its bow almost 90 % of all the spyware that is finds
makeing it one of the BEST out There !!!
no i'm not beaning played off ! you here me OUT THERE !!
it has a very fast scan and its dosent miss much
has a very Good Data Bace what it miss the frist time around
the updates will catch it the next time around when it updates its Data Bace
i rate it a 8 out of 10 one of the best program i'v ever tride on cnet
i think this software company know it and thay want all of you to try it
becouse once you do and thay start to sell it .youl want buy for Shore !

should work for microsoft its better than windows one care
Window One Care could not even find my Duty Socks in the corner of the room
BUT this termintor would wash my socks i BET like it wash all the spyware
out my computer abd its FAST !!! and easy to use
there nothing i didnt like about this program what you dont know your learn fast
how to use it just like to say GOOD JOB !

"BETTER THAN APPS YOU PAY FOR"
Pros: this has got a good fast scan with high detection rate ..
plus real time protection from spyware + an immunize feature..
all the settings you want so you can have it just the way you want it..
Cons: it dosn't make my bed when i get up in the morning

Version: Spyware Terminator 2
Pros: Yet another phoney `AntiSpyware' product. It seems to be coming into fashion.
Cons: I'd swear that those who rate this phoney garbage as any good are novices. This is the third time I've decided to give it a chance, this time based on the positive reviews here. Yet again it only found 1 or 2 objects. I then tried AVG AntiSpyware Free and it found 10 Medium threats......

Version: Spyware Terminator 2
Pros: I feel that this is an excellent anti-spyware program that pulls up a lot of stuff even though the majority is tracking cookies . It has a nice looking , easy to understand interface and is probably just as good if not better than AVG anti-spyware or a lot of the garbage freeware that download.com offers .
Cons: Not really anything I can think of . So far I haven't had to remove any major infections with it so I cant honestly say how well it would do with this .
