From GeoSpotX :If you lost your phone or it has been stolen, or you are worried about one of your family members, then just send SMS with a predefined code to the lost/stolen phone or your family member that have SmartphoneTracker installed. SmartphoneTracker then wakes up connect to the GPS and receives current coordinate. These coordinates are the formatted to Google Maps format and send by e-mail and/or SMS back to you. Version 1.2.0.3 added support for WM Smartphone edition, fixed DirectoryNotFoundException bug, added support for manual GPS com connection.

"It would not install on my PC or Smartphone"

Pros: Great idea.
Free.
Great for finding a misplaced phone.Cons: Background mode not very stealthy and seems to disable future reconfiguration of the program settings.
Not good as a discreet tracker.Summary: I installed this program successfully in the internal storage card on my HTC Touch Diamond (sprint). Pros: I have a new Tilt and did not think this could work. Wrong! I sent a test message to my Tilt, and in a few seconds later received a text message with coordinates and an email with coordinates and a Yahoo picture of my house-- where my phone was.
Cons: Small negative --best to use advanced settings. Hit menu on the bottom left and then advanced.
