Version: SmartDraw 2009 2009.52

"Really wanted to like it, but too quirky"

Pros: It has a very extensive collection of drop-in objects covering everything from homes to offices to commercial buildings. SmartDraw offers free telephone/email technical support to everybody, paid customer or not.

Cons: On paper, SmartDraw looked like the perfect program. This is a review of 2009.51. Overall I found that I was modifying my behavior to suit its mannerisms instead of it being designed to suit me. There are nearly no options to customize SmartDraw.

Summary: I tried this program to design the layout for our new office, so have no experience with its other uses, ie. flowcharting.
