This extremely basic reminder utility offers little to recommend it over its more-powerful competitors. Neither this application's interface nor the notes it produces can be considered slick, although its lack of features means it is easy to use. Slick Notes simply pops up a reminder message at the specified time, but it doesn't even alert you with an alarm or sound. You can't schedule recurring events or spruce up the look of the notes with skins or different fonts. Besides the ability to edit pending reminders, the only extra this program offers is the ability to view past notes, which isn't all that useful anyway. To make matters worse, it takes up too much memory when running in the background, especially consider its simplicity. Slick Notes is only a good bet for those seeking the most bare-bones reminder program they can find.
