This clear-cut utility lets you restore lost files without bothering you with disk-system details. Using its convenient interface, you will have no difficulty sorting files and choosing multiple items to recover. What's more, the program displays text, images, and MS Office files, as well as contents of archives, in the Preview window. The utility searches for just-deleted files or files stripped of their Windows-file reference information. The program supports most common graphic, document, archive, e-mail, database, and financial file types, as well as others such as MP3s. To focus your search, you can choose to seek only some file types. Search time also can be cut with special options, such as starting with a specific sector, skipping to the ends of found files, or searching disk sectors instead of clusters. The program also offers built-in CD- and DVD-burning support. Unfortunately, the program doesn't estimate time left. If you need to, you may execute the utility from a floppy disk or a CD without touching the hard drive. Though it's difficult to fully estimate the capacity of the tool, as saving is disabled, Recover My Files could be a solid choice for nonprofessionals.Publisher's description

Pros: Retrieve your deleted data, i've seen alot of programs that say they can, but there are allways some flaws. But in this product i can't find one!

Pros: Choose which file types to search for. Search results lists all files found, their ex-location, and the chance of their recovery (very good, medium, bad, etc.).
Cons: Must have a partition or removable drive to save recovered file to. But I guess that makes sense.

"Got back my Formatted Hard Disk"
Pros: After a hdd problem I could no longer see the drive letter. This program was simple to use and recovered the entire partition with full file and folder names. Great job.

"It pretends to find your files."
Pros: "Lost" files, those without any file information many times are usable.
BTW after your scan, you can't save the found files without buying the program.
Cons: All the files and folders look like my hard drive did. The files have correct icons, i.e. acrobat, word, excel, etc. but they are not usable. For example, acrobat will say damaged or not an acrobat file!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a huge waste of money!!!!!!!

"The trail version is actually useless"
Pros: I don't know any
Cons: The trail version is actually useless. It found the deleted files but does not allow me to save, how do I know the recovered files are real and undamaged. I have no idea how good will be for the expensive full version, since I have no confidence on the trail version, I don't want to pay for the full version.
