From Softwaredx.com:Rainmaker is a proposal builder based on a template engine and smart tags for customization. Each proposal is built from a library of documents, images, and text files in a master list (library), that you can add to and categorize. Then each proposal can be built in minutes, whether its only 1 page or 100 pages. Smart tags can be placed anywhere in your proposal library, and then easily replaced with custom data after a proposal is built. If you have a set of documents you want to save for similar client types or industries, you can save them as boilerplate templates for later use, and avoid the proposal building process for those types of clients. Used by Web designers, sales people, and product and service reps.

"Not happy with this product at all"
Pros: The library idea is ok.
Cons: On Windows XP Pro, 3Ghtz, with 512 megs of ram, the product should operate well, but instead, it crashes. I clicked on my first profile and it gave me a run-time error 62. Then, I clicked on my library folder and it gave me a memory error. The application closed after both error messages. It seems that the programmers did a bad job testing. Buyer beware.

Summary: Tried ProposalKit, ProposalMaster and a few others, this is the most features for the least amount of money. Other software promises what this one delivers. VERY open ended, making it customizable for ANY business. A+ job!

"Better than any others we have tried"
Summary: My biggest problem with Proposal Master and others, is they cost way too much for limited features. I thought the pricing on this was good, and the features were great for the 3 salespeople we have here in the office. I LOVE the fact it interfaces... read more >>
