Cons: The installation continually defaults to version 1.

Pros: It has only one useful feature, a Feed Validator ( http://feedvalidator.org/ ). But this can be used seperately from RSS Announcer.
Cons: I submitted a feed, then checked on some of the results. Not one of the first seven sites had worked! Example 1: 'BlogStreet' only accepts websites from India; Example 2: 'syndic8' now requires a login; Example 3: 'Feedster' has been offline for>1yr.
