The problem I have with this program is you are limited to how you can have it arrange the notes. By default the program cascades the notes making it hard to see the note text. There is a options in the settings for tiling the notes but it doesn't work. I contacted the company and they said that the tile option is not available in the pro version. You can move the notes around to display were you want them but if you launch certain programs such as PC video games it resets all the notes to cascade again. This is very annoying.

It's easy to use, and doesn't screw up any other programs. Also, saving windows when the computer shuts down, and bringing them back up after restart is really convenient.

Easy to use. Skins and colors are great. At the rate I use post-it-notes, Ouick Notes Plus will pay for its self in no time. It's great not seeing a bunch of notes and reminders stuck to my pcs.
A very good buy for the price. Quick Notes Plus would make a very nice gift.
Cons
I would like to be able to hide each note instead of all of them. And maybe a password to unlock them for editing. Also a way to turn off the popup when trashing a note.

This product is awesome. If you, like me, have a million things to remember, Quick Notes Plus definitely helps you get organised. This is a far better product than all the others around. Also, the skins for Quick Notes are super cool. I had it for one day and I bought the product the next. Try and buy friends, it's well worth your money.

"A good notes program with the bonus of Palm synchronization"

Pros
I evaluated several other programs before deciding on this one. The deciding factor was its ability to synchronize with my Palm PDA. Previously, I could only synchronize with the "Notes" module in Microsoft Outlook.
The program also allows me to keep current topics on the desktop whilst organising the bulk of my notes into "memoboards".
I had some initial problems with the Palm conduit - my email to support was answered within hours and the problem was quickly resolved.
Cons
Very little to complain about. The styling of the memoboard icons is too "informal" for my taste.

It does have the basic functions.

Its a terrible program. I felt like I was using something that was written in the 90's. When you click on the taskbar icon the first thing is help the other is "tell a friend" niether of these is useful in actually using this program. You can find much better ones for free.

I have tried many note programs but none comes close to Quick Notes Plus. The best feature that no other note programs offer is that notes can be added to any active window allowing notes to be added to emails, Word documents, Excel files, fetc... There also is are memoboards that you group notes together. Quick Notes Plus is packed with features (alarms, rich text formatting, Outlook note synchronization, skins, etc...) and discounts are offered for people who currently are using other note programs upon validation.
Well worth the money!

"Great product that has everything I needed"

Pros
After thoroughly testing at least a dozen similar programs over a two week period, Quick Notes was the only one that did eveything I needed.
I was looking for more than a simple "Don't forget to walk the dog" kind of thing. I tend to do long notes pasting in text items from the web and other documents plus adding my own points. QN5 makes this quite simple and offers enough formatting tools (bullets, numbering, etc.) to organize each note. Also I often do several series of notes on related topics and the Memoboards in QN5 are perfect for keeping each series of related notes together in one place.
Add to that the ability to link notes to specific files or windows so that the notes only show up when the file/window is open, and what more could you ask for? The website even has a forum to ask questions.
So if you're looking for a sticky notes app, at least try out the QN download for a few days to see how it compares to others. I think you'll be impressed.
Cons
Don't know of any cons. In fact, I mentioned on their forum a couple of improvements I would like and got a speedy reply explaining that most of my wish-list items were already included (I just hadn't searched far enough) and the rest could be in the next release.

I have enjoyed this since I have downloaded it. I have tried other sticky note programs, (Post-it Notes, the outlook ones) and none work like this. Awsome!
