Publisher's Description
From iConus:
PDFLab lets you split and join PDF documents as well as insert images and blank pages. You will also be able to easily create PDF documents out of several images. Its usage is really simple. You add your files in a list, select the pages you wish to include, order them the way you want and create a new PDF document.
PDFLab 2.0 also ships with tools that let you quickly split a document into many documents, (one document per page or one document for odd pages and one for even pages), encrypt or decrypt a document, add a watermark, interleave several documents.
What's new in this version:
Note: I appologize to all the users for the very long delay since the last version and the almost total lack of support I have provided. A new job a new life priorities are responsible for this.
- 2.0.3r2 fixes a nasty bug which prevented adding files
- First attempt at fixing a bug where the process could not be terminated and the user had to go grab the file manually from the Finder. Please provide some feedback on this if you were a victim of this bug !See all new features

"Error 404 File Not Found"
Version: PDFLab 2.0.3r2
Pros
Nothing stuck somewhere on my computer - because there's nothing to download, let alone install.
Cons
I'd really like to try the product - the price is right. Then again, you get what you pay for, apparently.
Summary
CNET, why not remove the link if there's nothing at the other end? It

"PLEASE update!! This was the best!!"

I echo the sentiments of the teacher below! No need for hardcore acrobatics with my PDFs, just the ability to join multiple files... for low/no cost. But: I can't get this to work with Leopard (10.5.8). Is there something wrong with my system? Can anyone else run it with Leopard? -
"Works for me!"

I am a teacher and have no need for heavy duty pdf software. My job sometimes requires me to combine or rearrange pages of pdf files. This app gets the job done and it is freeware. I have computers running Tiger and Leopard so the updated Preview in Snow Leopard does not help me (yet!) -

"Great!"

I have been using it for a long time now, I find it really useful, much easier than the terminal based version there is on all unixes and whose name I have now forgotten, since you are not using that kind of gadget everyday, I remember I had to read once again the manual for the text based version while this GUI is so easy you do as you feel and it's the right thing to do. I had to reinstall it though when I upgraded to Leopard, just erased it and reinstalled. If I will find myself using it like once a month, I'll donate for sure. -
"Excellent software"
Version: PDFLab 2.0.3r2
Summary

A most excellent piece of software. It is just what I needed. I had an old Adobe Illustrator 9 (MacOS 9.2.2 Classic) two page document that I needed to print double sided on a Xerox Phaser 8560 color printer. Unfortunately there is no print driver, that I can find or that Xerox knows of, that will give me the double sided printing and other features of the printer. I printed each of the pages separately to a ps file in Classic using Illustrator. Then I used PDFLab to make the two docs into one doc and printed them with Preview to the Phaser.
Thanks for the tool!
Cheers

"Very useful"
Version: PDFLab 2.0.3r2

Very useful and stable, but it seems that the development is not fully compliant with Apple guidelines: utilities such as Default folder do not work
