This is a nifty little utility for those who believe the Windows Start button was misnamed and want to change it. My Start Button's very simple interface is little more that a couple of buttons and an entry box. You won't need a Help file with this app. It takes little memory or other resources to run.
Operating My Start Button takes just a few seconds. Enter the text you want to see instead of the word "Start." The maximum number of letters is 13, and the demo forces six characters at the beginning. A second option switches the Start button to its original look. A preview button will help you make sure you get what you want. A final radio button option lets you enable the change for all users or just for yourself.
My Start Button will appeal to any level user who wants to customize that detail on the desktop.
Type your lover's name, your football team, your name, and your family name on your start button. Type your company name on start buttons on every computer in your company. Type what ever you want on your start button. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
